So Sad Martiniboat

I feel uneasy posting this and will take it down if you think I should. I just read on another forum that Brian, Martiniboat passed away on 1/5/06. There were no details.

I remember well when he was missing, and the post he made about his story, it had saddend me then and now

Wow. I just read his thread called "The Martiniboat Story". :(

The poor guy really had it tough last Spring. But seemed like everything was back on track.

What a heartbreaking story.

May he rest in peace.

Re: So Sad Martiniboat

No one I've met had such a keen interest in fabricating beautiful pieces for boats and the individual talent to see it through to the finished product. Brian had those qualities along with a great sense of humour. Sorry to see him gone - way too soon.
RIP

So I guess that nobody knows what happened...or it's one of those things that are better left alone. Either way, very sad indeed. :(

Brian and I use to talk via phone a bit. We both got involved in the marine business around the same time and exchanged ideas and experiences.

I hadn't heard from Brian in a while. I'll miss those conversations. :(
