Not on Lake Travis. I wear the "dead man's lanyard", but not a PFD.

Heck, here on Lake Travis they hand you a cocktail before you leave the dock...

PFD's are mandatory on all the poker runs up here. Kinda smart to wear one I think. You can't swim if you're out cold.

All of the runs that I have done are NJPPC and it is mandatory to wear them. My wife and I wear lifelines.

I wish they were mandatory on our club runs, then I wouldn't have to fight with Debbie. I tell her she can either wear it, or stay on the dock. Her option.

Rule of thumb on my boat everyone wears a jacket, no booze, no hoarsing around! I ran a lot of Poker Runs and I want to make sure everyone is safe.
