You would think that if there were shots fired a person hit and drugs on any some or all the boats they know were there they would have found something. The law has some pretty cool ways of finding any tiny amount.

The less dramatic thing that may of happened still seems believable. He was idling in gear to keep his heading one motor wasn't strong enough to keep him straight so he had 2 on to go fast enough to keep him safe and slow enough to not get that far away. He went to the back to piss and fell off, the lanyard isn't 12 feet long so he had it off.

I have been out there in the gulf stream in my 42 Sonic and when we took a rest from getting pounded you had to keep both motors in gear and at 1000-1200 RPM's just to stay safe, it aint no joke out there, but they did say one of the other kids was in a 22 foot boat so it might not have been that bad that day, the only way I am getting in a 22 foot boat out there is if it's a life boat because the big boat just sank.

Right. I don't see me climbing in a 22 foot boat for a 50+ mile ocean trip........

Very interesting story though, I could see a movie being made of it very easily. (when more facts come to light).

Actually, she chucked that out the window while heading home from doing the deed.

They found it in a grassy area, based on her description of where she threw it.

Heres an AMW link with some info video and pictures. Kinda cool how on the infrared photo you can see the heat on the two running motors.
