Default Show Vs. Go

If there were a limit on what you are willing to spend...

If you are a very hard working stiff, with limited resources for use on this depreciating asset hobby.

Would you choose mild power with tricked out interior/paint/rigging.

Or

Function, bare or minimum graphics/interior with plane functional rigging, with massive, unbelievable driveline.

keep in mind for the purposes of this poll, you can not have both.

It all depends on the type of boating you plan to do. I have always done most of my boating with the key "off". I cruise out to party cove (Devil's Cove on Lake Travis), party all day, and cruise back.

Right now, I would MUCH rather have a flashy boat with mild, big-block power, i.e. 400 per side. I will spend the money on the "SHOW".

Agree, I like flashy boat and mild power, but you gotta cruise around a little...

Go with flashy boat and mild power, how often do you need 1000hp per engine when running out on the lake.
