Thats a true statement. I just pulled the trigger on a 05 330SS w/496mags as our first boat. Have to start somewhere and will move up to a 370 or 400ss at somepoint. Purchased at Glencove LOTO and got a special @ 2.9% full term and 21% off list price. Indeed its a wash with there incentive programs but their boats hold great value, I looked for months at depreciation rates and you need to hold them 3-4 years unless your trading up which will be my case.

With respect to the 400SS ?

I have a friend with one thats 2 years old and its never had a problem ever and no bottom paint. You can grill chicken at 50mph its so smooth.

Guys , what the real top end with the 496 HO ????

I've driven, and ridden on 2 400ss Formulas with 496HO's. You will run low to mid 50's with that setup. That's actual everyday speed, not barstool.
