The old wavehippie is for sale.
Not sure if it raced in 90 or 91, but it may qualify for HORBA.
It sure seems in nice shape.
I got these pictures from the owner and thought it might be a good fit for someone here. Board member Whirlygig raced it back in its day.

Wasnt this boat for sale in florida a few years ago. Looks like new motors. Did this boat eer change owners a few ago when it was for sale.

Edit+++ I guess if I just read the ad I could answer my own questions. Anyone have any other history on this boat??

These guys boats are always Really clean, they have the 47 all white Fountain that runs out of Naples FL and Grand Haven Mich.

That was always a nice boat !
Used to be inside at Fishtale back in the day ....
We ran it with mine up to Sanibel for the Hotboat trials back in '95 ....

Well, We wrapped up the deal last week on the old "Wave Hippie" Saber!!! So it will be heading to KANSAS as soon as I find a way!!! Looking for a truck headed this way!!!

From you, on this thread!! I've always like the Sabers, since I first saw the one in HotBoat/Powerboat that ran like a a stripped a$$ ape!!! So I have been kinda looking ever since. The time just fit, I have some friends that would like to hit a couple of P-Class races so this just fit. I can't wait to get it back here to Kansas!!! I look to give it a complete re-rig, clean up the rigging, maybe update the interior. Time will tell!!
