Hey, BIG Daddy, those are some great numbers. Give us poor OLD okies some more info, like props, gears, RPM's and such. Also what did you do different to gain so much speed. How did Lance's run. Congrats again those are awesome numbers.

ya, engines were back up to 1400hp and I haven't touched the Hubers yet, they're working too good. I just put on a set of Hering 16.5 x 37's and the boat liked them. She was still climbing pretty fast but that was fast enough for me, and I didn't care to pound on my engines too much
Maybe at the shootout

Lance ran 165mph with the same Herings I ran 175mph with (16.5" x 37" 5 blades). He runs a 1.35 and I run a 1.29 gear. We both have the Huber 1550 dry sump trannies. He runs Sterling 1300hp's and I have Baker 1400hp's. Of course the rev-limiters would stop us from going past 6800 rpms
I didn't do anything different(other than take off the Mercs and put on the Herings), I just haven't pushed it untill now. Conditions are a big part of it. There was nobody on the lake, smooth water, and cold air.
Plus, I felt pretty safe with the co-pilot who was there. Of course, I can't confirm or deny who that co-pilot was...

Once I get his permission, I'll post some pics.
