Default drives...yes or no question

okis...i just need a simple straight forward response for this question...will raising the x dimension lower the bow lift?thank you

That would be why I'm here..............

There is no..Yes or No...It depends. deeper,spinning in should carry the bow more...Maybe
Now throw props into the equation also.....

All other things being equal raising the x will cause the bow to drop. If the drive is higher it exerts less leverage and drops the bow. Some boats get extensions at the same time to bring some of the leverage back. But if you just move the prop up (like an outboard with a jack plate) it will drop the bow at the same trim position.

Raising the drive height from stock Bravo X on your style hull will lower your bow, and if she porpoises now even a little bit ,she will be like flippers older brother with less X and also net way slower speeds.
