I see a lot of boats with big amps, subs, flat screens, etc. My question is how does that stuff hold up to the harsh boating environment. I have a simple am/fm/cd with 4 round speakers. I have to replace my speakers this year because all 4 of them broke. The way I run my boat I don't expect all that stuff would survive for long.
Oh, and that Baja is just plain retarded. My .02

That's pretty sweet!!! But I don't think it's the system I want.
I have 4 6 1/2" Sonys and I just bought a 50X2 Alpine AMP for the 6 1/2's.
I also purchased a secondhand sub box with 2 10's and a Kenwood amp. Thinking of putting that in the boat too.

It's all about placement...and I bet you need that many speakers in order for that boat to sound decent since boats are all wide open.
