Opions needed: Powerplay
I have my "eye" on a used 33' Powerplay. I am just wondering how many are out there that may be for sale? I am only interested in the sportdeck, no cc's please. Here's a list of the few that I know of and a few that I'd like to know who owns them and where they are. Any serious input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance OSO :drink: these pics are in NO particular order. here's a 2001 and a 2002 |

Re: Powerplay
Here is some pics of a few PP's that I don't know who owns them or if they may be for sale.

Re: Powerplay
Another PP that I have no info about
|
Re: Powerplay
another one
|
Re: Powerplay
Here's another one that is older, but pretty sweet! It looks totally redone. The only problem (for me) is that it looks too much like my old PP (paint), I want something different looking this time.

Re: Powerplay
Any others?--Besides the other ones for sale here in the OSO classifieds

ttt :D

Re: Powerplay
I've never really looked at Powerplay (probably because I've never seen one in person). Nice looking boats. Kinda looks like a Mistress, but the aft is sitting deeper in the water.
I like it!! Good luck in your search! |

Semperfi
There is One in Hot Springs that I have been watching for a couple of years. Its a REPO that has been sitting outside of a pontoon dealership covered and on blocks. Nice looking boat that has 500efis and boxes if I remember right. They have been looking for the owner for a long time because he owes money on service. Let me know if you want more info. |

Re: Powerplay
That boat is very nice. It is set up to go in big water. It is one of 3, Mine, Oz, and that one, with a 3man rear bolster. It is great for rear passengers! Not good for sun, but the hatch works for that.

I saw the one I painted a few years ago for sale in a Florida Power Boat Club ad. It's a 38 Powerplay called "Fox-Sea Five"
Very nice boat when we had it. I've done a couple Powerplay's and the craftsmanship is incredible. I don't know if it is still for sale but check it out. |

Re: Powerplay
Powerplay are crazy detailed boats. Danny would have the rigging holes and all other holes in the hull that were used to put hardware in completly sanded smooth so you don't get glass imbeded in your arm when you reach in. Other builders don't care and slash holes. They would also be cut perfectly round, not with a jig-saw or a sledge hammer like some manufacturers. These holes where being covered anyway but that didn't matter to them. They made it perfect! I will never forget the first time I stuck my hand in a rigging hole of a Powerplay.
Here is another Powerplay 33 cc we did. Very cool and diferent. It is all paint, cleared, sanded then polished. Anyone have more pics of this boat or know who the owner is, that would be great. I didn't get to meet the owner at the time of this job. |
