Hi!

Will JF Dubois make the trip? I do not see a Sunsation in your list? I also met that couple with a Chap 285ssi... Will they make it?

No Jf i supposed to take a 29 Outlaw.... he buy it in the region of Boston this Winter .... i think he is not a real guy of Sunsation ... , the 32 SS is not sold at this time ... but he think its not supposed to take long time before he gone .....But the Doc Binnete change is boat for a 45 Sonic (3 Bulldog) ....i think we going to have a great trip

How did you guys dialed with the insurers about the Bahamas and Florida?

How long will you be there?

Good luck with your trip. Here is a tip that not all Canadians are aware of. Before you leave Florida for the Bahamas you must go into a US Customs office [ probably Ft Laud or Miami ] and complete some forms and pay a small charge for a User Fee Decal. Also check in with them immediately upon your return to USA. The first time I crossed in 1991 I did not follow this procedure and they harassed me for 4hours and threatened to seize my boat. While I am not up on the current requirements I expect they can only be tougher and you should check. The penalties can be severe.
Also invest in a Bahamas Cruising guide. Lots of good helpful info. Available at most major Marine retailers in south Florida.

The Atlantis Marina in Paradise Island is beautiful, you will be with some big company !!!!!

How many miles is the run to Paradise Island?
Where will you be leaving from (Marina)?
Does anyone have a pic that you can post of the chart that covers starting point to end point?

We are cover from 100 miles from coast of Florida ....350$ a week of surcharge .... ....and we supposed to be on water 9 to 10 day .... ask to Marie-Jo ..and come with us !!!...i think is going to be a great trip

Nassau is further than 100 miles.

Be VERY careful of the weather and GAS. The keys are a better bet if you feel adventurous take a day trip to the Dry Tortugas.
