If I were to get into this first one I need to paint, so it can come out something like the 2nd pic ... without the arch!.
PS I'm close to you guys also, Chatsworth.

I need to get out in the boat another time before Desert Storm. I'm thinking Saturday April 8th (if the weather is cooperating) out of either Marina Del Rey or Long Beach. Maybe an early morning Breakfast run to Avalon.....

I'll drop you an email tonight.

Yes, that was the one and now he's selling it for 68.5k. The used car lot was more like a used RV lot. Did you get your's for around that? Whats the details on your purchase? I'm looking at possibly doing the out of state thing as well if the dollars are right.
Thanks, Terry

Thanks Dan... The truck does look sweet. I didn't know of them, let alone someone who can do the kind of multi color graphic work these cigs really need..

The price is starting to sound better. I guess my biggest concern was the 250 hours on pro-charged motors. You almost have to figure in complete rebuilds on both in order to play it safe. Plus (at least from what I hear) insurance triples for anything with power other than stock 502s/496s...

Got mine for substantially less and it included delivery. Both motors are new 496s with 42 hours on them.

Insurance is less than 1k a year through Progressive. Although you may hear bad things about them, I haven't personally seen any problem. Plus, this is California and we have the Insurance Commissioner's office.

Thanks for the info on the insurance.. when it comes time I'll call you for your contact person. On the fountain... for roughly the same money I want to work toward a deal on a solid cig or scarab. Cool to know someone else is getting stoked about the boats around here!
