no doubt, the build of these boats is unmatchable, I just want new engines and more speed, say a pair of 350 Verados? Although at my sea trial with Phil on board and half fuel we got 63.5 mph.

Thumbs up

I have a 2002 33 cig cafe open basically same boat, the seaworthiness of this hull is very very impressive I live in Puerto Rico our seas are brutal 4-6 are great days for us down here. The boat has been to the BVI,s twice and this year on the way over it had (we) to handle for a good 45 min 9-10 at an average of 18 Knots. This with a very very conservative power of twin 225 opty,s 4-5 cruise at 35-37 knots very comfortably 48.6/56 mph max relatively light. Awsome design and extremely comfortable boat no center console in this range can give you all this I would not change it for nothing out there and like I said OH the rough water capabilities!!!!!!
pics of my boat in this site look for low91207

Awesome boats..... i'm considering either a 33 Ocean Hawk or a 33 Avance, I want mine with racing bolster seats and no arch or t-top triple 300's...there one like that here in miami that looks super sharp...great all around boat

I own Green Lantern in post #4. It spent this year on dry land as we had a baby, but I can't wait for next summer... Love that boat!

I should of gotten one of these instead of the Concept I bought back in 2003....really was not impressed. My 38 Fountain CC is nice, strong well built and fast but I am looking to down size back to 2 outboards and something a little smaller.

The boat is alive and in production again. We bought the company and molds a year ago. Took one to Key West, on the poker run, new 2014 model with twin 300 Verados. 61-62i into 25mph wind full fuel and water three guys and tool box. 64 and change with wind. Ride one of these and you will buy it. Returned Monday outside 55 mph trimmed out no tabs, what a ride!!! Bone dry amd rock solid. am in love again.
Come to Key Largo and try it

The boat is awesome. Better than the Cigarette version built from 1997-2002. I used it in the Chesapeake Bay last summer and can't wait to take off the shrink wrap in a few weeks. I moved up from a 29 Fountain and what a difference.

I did alot of research on this type of boat and considered others like Fountain, Donzi, Concept, Marlago, and a few others and felt this boat was the best for my needs. I have not been disappointed.

There is a used one in Clearwater for sale also for $59K. It has triple 250 EFI which are gas guzzlers. Mine has twins. I settled on the 250EFIs to keep the cost down. It will take me a long time to burn $20K in gas.

Please let me know any specific questions you have or pictures you would like and I will help you.

Also, you might want to consider having a new one built. I can help you with that if you are interested. Might be worth considering.

what is your hull rated for hp wise? i just bought a 32 manta cc that is rated for 600hp, i would think it would handle more. if it had twin i/os in it i know someone would have big power in theirs... what is your top speed with the 250 twins? thx, rm
