To get to 85 mph on a non stepped Tiger your going to need about 750-800 hp and something better than an XR. The XR will be ok but you will need a spare or two handy...trust me

Don't run a non-step Tiger w/anything less than 3A's, V's, VI's, Konrads, or at least BMAX's, They are HEAVY and love to chew up Bravos and XR's.

85 w/trannies. You'll need 800hp. I think dry they are like 11k (don't quote me on that). Parnell or Harvey can tell you the exact weight.

Stormrider, I don't understand you question. There's plenty of room for Trannies in the engine compartment of a Tiger.

I'm sure there is, but if the boat is originally rigged for bravos, you'll have to move the engines forward for trannies, or put the trannies in extension boxes. Would this be an option for 3As or would you have to move the engines forward? Wouldn't it be easier to just hang konrads off the back on extension boxes than to move the engines? Would the 42 nonstep run well on ext. boxes??

I think GL's Tiger is lighter than our Gun, but that's also because he doesn't have a full cabin like we do, I think he has an extended Cover Girl. So the weight of a Tiger all depends on what Tiger you're looking at.
