Accon said they just discontinued their remote control pop up bow light since powerboaters like us were using them and they wouldn't hold up.

Anyone tried one or have one?

I had one on my Nor Tech. After two years the pin broke and would no longer pop up on it's own. I had liked it up until then. In a lake or small water application would be just fine.

you mean a spot light or a nav light???.........I think a pop up motorised remote spot light would be SO cool......Ive never seen one......I hate boating at night but I hate going home at 9 o clock even more......

Running with a spot light on would be illegal.

no you knuckleheads, the aft anchor light, it telescopes up. It's a good idea but the company that was making them couldnt make it work for our stuff.

Why could you not run with a spot light on? I do it/have seen others do it all the time. WTF is it for if you can't use it?
