I would hope they run better than the 600, I run a 35 fountain with stock 525sc's and ran a brand new 40 ' Baha with tripple 600's and I could leave him good. He was not happy and I would have not been either. I would have thought that with tripples the baha should have run over 100. ???

[QUOTE=JIMKID Motorsports]I Would Think You Could Go At Least 150 To 200 Hrs On That Package. Not That Radical Has One Year Warranty .and I Heard They Will Be Avalable In June

Merc rep in Miami said they should be freshened at 100 hrs.

A Mercury rep told me that taken care of properly you can go easily 400hrs before really looking at it.

I just called Mercury to find out what they thought. He said probably somewhere between 300-500 hours depending on how I drove the boat. Something interesting he told me was to give the motor the one year warranty, it had to do over 150 hours at wide open throttle under load. He said the motor's maintenance will be like a 600 not like the 850. He also said that it is a very strong 700hp motor not like the 600 which was a "weak" 600hp. He said this motor will put over 700 hp to the prop! They will start shipping them in June to the builders and apologized for the delay. I am assuming it is because they need to take word ACE off of the drives and put the new name on them. Mike

This is right from Mercury racing technical not a Merc rep. Don't forget the importance of the valve adjust.
Thanks, Cam-shaft.
