Re: HELP !! No speed limit on NH lakes
Copy and Paste of an e-mail I Just received. :( :( :(
Subject: HB 162 Date: Tue, 7 Mar 2006 10:40:51 -0500 From: "Fuller Clark, Martha" <[email protected]> Add to Address Book Add Mobile Alert To: "Joseph Downes" <******@yahoo.com> Dear Mr. Downes, Thank you for contacting me with your concerns regarding HB 162. After much thought and consideration, I believe that it is important to protect all citizens and visitors who are using the New Hampshire Lakes. The best way is to pass a specific speed limit for day and night time speed limits. For this particular reason I am going to vote in favor of HB 162. For the bill puts in place a clear and definable safety regulation with regard to how fast boats may or may not travel on lakes. Sincerely, Senator Martha Fuller Clark District 24 LOB, Room 101 33 North State Street Concord, NH 03301-6328 office: (603) 271-2708 [email protected] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From: Joseph Downes [mailto:*****@yahoo.com] Sent: Thursday, February 16, 2006 5:49 AM To: Gallus, John; Johnson, Carl; Kenney, Joseph; Boyce, Robert; Burling, Peter; Flanders, Robert; Odell, Bob; Murphy, Patrick; Eaton, Thomas; Bragdon, Peter; Gottesman, David; Foster, Joseph; Clegg, Robert; Larsen, Sylvia; Gatsas, Theodore ([email protected]); Barnes, Jack; Martel, Andre; D'Allesandro, Lou; Estabrook, Iris; Hassan, Maggie; Fuller Clark, Martha Subject: HB162 I oppose House Bill 162. |
Re: HELP !! No speed limit on NH lakes
Joe reply with this link
http://www.gencourt.state.nh.us/leg...006/HB1463.html Explain to her that this proposed bill addresses all safety concerns - every ones safety not only boaters - and in conjunction with the safety certificate now required the lake will be even safer. In fact ONLY this bill "puts in place a clear and definable safety regulation" for all. I'll bet you a bag of donuts she's never been on a boat never mind owned one. Any way she's one voice and not a committee chairman. |

Received the same email. Just re-emailed her.

Re: HELP !! No speed limit on NH lakes
I wrote her back as well. One thing I will say, at least she's consistent. Consistently negative in this case, but consistent nonetheless.

Re: HELP !! No speed limit on NH lakes
Wrote her another letter today. There has been so much misinformation during the last year by the proponents. I can understand how someone who is not on the water could could fall for there rhetoric
