No, these engines were originally shipped out as 550's and installed in a new cat with #6's. When Ilmor came out with the 625's they were shippped back to Ilmor and the internals were converted into 625's.

There wasn't much interest in a big cat with 6's and 625's so the boat sat for a long time. The dealership finally gave up on selling the boat with 625's and put in big power. They shipped these engines back to Ilmor where I got a great deal on them.

I had the same question but they said it would work. I guess if they don't then we'll just have to switch them.

Going to have to repaint the boat to match the motors. And then redo the interior to match the paint. :D
