Fountain Powerboat touts its backlog of orders

I'll bet the newly designed cockpit, unbelievable stock power speeds and fish boat expansion/promotions are the reasons for their great show. ????

buy a used 35 Fountain. I can tell you this, nobodys
giving them away! Most 98 -2000 are in the 100k
or better range. 96-97 are in the 85-90k range Not bad considering you can buy a new
2006 for 155k.

i agree, Sea Rays do have good resale, and im not a fountain hater either.......just sucks when you have to price your boat close to all the other ones that are available to get people to even look at them. thats why its so important especially in the HP market to protect your investment and take care of your boat like its your first born son, cause no one wants a 100K pre owned boat that looks like its been neglected...and yes i will also congratulate fountain and their network of dealers on a good boat show season, they should be proud of sales numbers like that. I like seeing new boats on the water no matter what brand they are!!

I met Reggie at the show last year, and I must say that I have never met anyone, ever, who could press a deal better than he can. Even if you told him that you hate his boats, he would smile and look you right in the eye and say, "Other than that, what can I do to get you into a Fountain." And if you then went on to say that you were broke, he would just go on and say, "We can help you with financing. So what can I do to get you into a Fountain?" He is a master at pressing the deal.

If they are really that busy. I don't want my boat built in a rush to fill orders. I can only imagine the issues people will have with the boats due to skipping corners and rushing through the building process just to fill orders.

Wyatt might give him a run for his money. He was at the launch ramp with a 47 when we pulled up getting ready for the Chicago poker run. In two minutes he was taking numbers and how he would take trades. Gave us a ride that evening. I'm not a Fountain guy but I was impressed. Congrats Fountain and we'll keep you in mind.
