You are entitled to your opinion but the record shows otherwise.

This sums it up.

"the most competitive V-bottom classes; Superboat Vee Unlimited"

OTFLMAO!

That is too funny.....

Thanks Fanatic...
Life is much easier now....

Maybe this season we will see more than 1 boat in SVU...

Cig or Apache, both bad azz boats. I would be a proud owner of either boats!!! I can appreciate both the old school as well as the bling bling designs, both are very appealing to me.

I see you left out the rest of the sentence but I agree they should have left that part out. Fountain did quite well in Super Vee, One, Two and three.

I'd say Fountains record over the past 15 years or so speaks for itself though.

It would be real disappointing if they didn't. The class is packed with 11 of their boats. The odds are with them...

What year was it when this "Lake Boat" won just about every race it was entered in?

And why is that? Why does everybody want to race with a Fountain ?
You don't race to lose.

Usually because of the initial Factory support...
Then one day the next new boat gets a little extra boost from the factory and suddenly the other's aren't near the front of the pack. Example: NYC 2005.

Now why don't we leave this thread to the Cigs vs Apache. Kinda getting off topic here...
