I was in "Geronimo" , the 41' Apache with Sean Stinson driving the boat in good 4-6 footers running pretty hard...maybe 75mph and that thing was chewing up the water and spitting it out.
I have never been in a boat like it in rough water.

I was in Parnell's 41 in 4 to 6 foot seas on Lake Michigan in the winter of 2004....AND I have the video to prove it. There was 5 of us all wearing snowmobile gear with helmets going 80 across some of the nasties!! WHAT A RUSH!! I could barely manage to keep the video camera going. Parnell send me your e-mail addy and I will send you the vid and you can post it on here....Parnell + his boat = MONSTER!!!

And by the way with the whole Fountain vs. Apache vs. Cigarette vs. etc. etc. etc.
I think there are some facts that no one can deny...Apache is the best rough water (big water) offshore boats ever made. Fountain is the fastest built hull (for now
) and in my personal opinion following Apache is Cigarette for rough water. other than that, it's just egos and a pissing contest.
