The CMS Offshore Race Team will be attending the Spring Fling for the Super Boat International/American Power Boat Association (SBI/APBA) Divisional event scheduled for March 30 through April 2, 2006.

The CMS Team will be show casing two Marine Technology Inc. (MTI’s) this season. The 39 foot MTI “US-1” that will race is the 2005 Super Cat National and World Championship Boat. The boat can run over 130 miles per hour. This year the CMS Team has added a 42 foot, black MTI that will carry the number 3 to its fleet. The new boat that can exceed speeds of 160 miles per hour will also be show cased in the St. Cloud Spring Fling race.

Bob Bull has participated in the Rotary sponsored race for over 10 years. He said, “This is a great event to shake down the equipment in preparation of the season and the St. Cloud Rotary’s support in the local community makes this an even better reason to attend.”

Mitch Miller, driver for the team said, “We missed not being able to participate in the event last year, however we look forward to seeing the lakefront restoration efforts made by the City of St. Cloud in 2005.”

The sponsor of the CMS racing team is the CMS Mechanical Service Inc. with headquarters in Melbourne, FL. The company provides commercial air conditioning services to clients throughout the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. The team is planning a hospitality area for CMS customers and employees during the Spring Fling event."
