Well,
Back to my question, what are they worth? And my thought is it will be easier for my to sell my 502 MPIs intact, and install the HP500's and get an known package that will work.
Thanks for all the ideas guys, as I started down the "Modify the 502 MPIs" route, and then the HP500's came onto the radar screen.

Dean, I am in the same boat(no pun intended! :D) It's easier for me to pull my motor out, sell it complete and buy a complete HP500.

IMO, you're not going to get 500hp with bolt ons. However, my engine is freashwith all new rings, bearings, gaskets, etc so the idea of a procharger still keeps popping into my head! :D

Dean ..whenever you sell those motors please let me know what i should ask for...I have 2 1998 mpi's also with apprx 325 hrs with drives and gimbals .. we removed to install 2 new diesel packages in a fountain.. need to move .they are in the way.. thanks nick 813-417-6424

I have New marine 502's. Long blocks for $4,995 or Fully dressed/complete for $9250
