Markel is the company I inquired about on the discount and was told no discounts for any school. They did however say that for operators with little experience the class could make the difference between getting insurance and not.
Perhaps if you could list the insurance companies you have an agreement with to give the discounts and contact info for each so that each individual could check his/her status?

Insurance discount or not, it is still a very valuable class to take, no matter how much experience you have or are paying for insurance. Not to mention the fact that what you learn may help save someones life. the marine insurance indutry is a rip off, at least someone is trying to help us. maybe more companies will be writing policies in the future.
