Markel is the company I inquired about on the discount and was told no discounts for any school. They did however say that for operators with little experience the class could make the difference between getting insurance and not.

Perhaps if you could list the insurance companies you have an agreement with to give the discounts and contact info for each so that each individual could check his/her status?

Might be helpful.

Insurance discount or not, it is still a very valuable class to take, no matter how much experience you have or are paying for insurance. Not to mention the fact that what you learn may help save someones life. the marine insurance indutry is a rip off, at least someone is trying to help us. maybe more companies will be writing policies in the future.
keep it up Tres.

Please tell me about your experience. Will Tres have a PR class to help you get along with employees on the dock ramps.

I can give you many people ro call the have taken the class . I am doing this to preserve our industry. So I want to keep this whole thing as possitive as it can be.What would dock ramp employees have to do with this anyway?

They love me at the ramps. Don't pay any attention to the four park rangers, untold water patrol and the bass boaters.
