Looks awsome. Great to see the old girl resurrected.

Those shots from the 92 or 93 worlds bring back memories. That wing did a nice number on the old kid apache kid when it flew off on the Wednesday race and the Apache ran over it. Then Gifford barrel rolled right infront of us on Saturday. Now, two OSO'ers have both boats involved and restored to mint condition. Way cool.

Saw you out on the lake today, it looks great in the water! How did she run?

Re: Jaguar project

We did a quick "shake-down" run and put it in the slip, but never exceeded 3,000 rpm. A few minor issues: one of the new Livorsi "knock sensors" doesn't work, a MSD mag pickup has a bad connection, etc., but nothing major. :D

Thanks for the compliment!

Re: Jaguar project

Curtis-
I had it painted in Fort Worth at an aircraft shop and they did an OK job.
What downtown run?

Rob-
I was going to weigh it, but ran out of time. It's probably relatively heavy because the boat is cored (using composites only): double core on the bottom and has beefy side coring (bought it to stay in one piece and to handle our rough water) :D .

Thanks for the kudos
John

what day were you out? I was up that way from Galveston meeting for job interviews on friday. I drove down by but only saw a cigarette top gun out. Do you keep your boat locked up or just out in a sling? I drove by back there but I think the door was shut, a few cars back there, do you drive a red ford dually? I'd like to get some pictures of you out.

Re: Jaguar project

Ernie-
No Ford Dually.
We got it wet on Sunday afternoon, then went for a brief shake-down. I'll try to PM you when we take it out again.

We (Texas Motor Speedway) have the NASCAR Truck/Busch/ Cup the first weekend in April and my wife's with a CPA firm, so there isn't much time for boating until after the 15th of April  .
