Walk into any wood truss plant anywere in the country and you will be hired immeditley for 40 K a year. In a couple of years when you pass your boards you will be making 50-60K and can go on from there. Ive been in this business for 17 years and have never seen such a demand for truss designers, and its getting better.

Figure out what you like to do and have a passion for, and youll never have to work another day of your life. My passion was driving, so ive been a over the road truckdriver for 29 years and still enjoy it. Brian

Sometimes it is better to leave especially if you are not happy in your employment. When I'm not happy with my choices like most people this will just lead to added stress in life. Who needs that?

I'm only doing my current job solely for the money and too be honest it for the lack of a better word sucks! It takes guts to admit that maybe this was a wrong move and attempt to change for the better. I wish you luck and hope you find what you are looking for!!!
