Converting to 525's
Price and what it takes to convert a 502 Carb motor into a 525SC???

Re: Converting to 525's
First I think the Merc 525sc that you are thinking of is a 454 ci then add blower. I think you need to ask yourself how much HP do you want from your 502 carb, and if you really want a blower? Some engine builders offer packages to build your 502 up to around 600hp NA.

I've got two 525 efi's long blocks 2003 with 201 hrs.
Ck the classifieds ! Rebuild 1 & buy the parts from docmanrich & you will have about 540 hp on 87 octane LS |
