I have a 2003 32 Chaparral cruiser. I need a complete set of custom canvas done for the boat. I don't want the same canvas due to the fact that Chaparral does a horrible canvas job that actually makes the water enter the cockpit when it rains and floods out the cockpit. I can drive the boat by water to somewhere.

Last summer i had 2 people look at the boat and both said NO they won't do custom work only replace what I already have.

Call Offshore Performance. They are in the Kent Island area. I know that they have someone that does their stuff. I've seen the work and it is very good.

Try Sobstad sails in annapolis. Had them make a cockpit cover for me years ago that held up great. I haven't lived in that part of MD for 7 years now though, so i don't know if they still do that kind of work or if they're even still there.

This is who made my cover. Totally custom and fits like a glove. The previous owner(Hot Duck) had it made. He has also had them make a few more for other boats of his.

Canvas Plus in Northeast at Jackson Marina. He (Kevin) just got finished repairing my cover, I will pick it up on Wed. I'll let you know how it came out. When I dropped my cover off he had a center console outside of his shop he just finished doing a complete canvas job on, it looked very neat and tight. I agree with Griff. Canvas Experts is top notch and they turn out some fantastic work. They have just moved to a larger shop and their new phone number is (410) 213-8766.

Here are a few pics of full covers they made for my 38' Top Gun now owned by "Lucky Strike" and my Canopied Gladiator now owned by "Purnell." They also made a cockpit cover for the Top Gun and a canopy cover for the Gladiator. They will certainly be making one of these full covers for the Apache when we have our paint scheme and colors figured out and ready to go. Give them a call. The trip down here will be worth it.

I just got my repaired cover back and he did a nice job. I asked Kevin if he does the custom work and he said that's no problem. I also asked about a slip, Yes he has a slip and it is at no extra charge. He said the week of June 19th would be the soonest he could get it in. If you do bring it to him let me know and I can drive down nightly to check on it for you.

Thanks SOX thats the only problem I been having that means from April 15th until end of june I would have no canvas and my boat would be exposed to the weather until then. I may have to just buy a new cockpit cover until then. But I didn't want to spend the $$ on a cocpit cover for just 2 months

This is turning out to be a HUGE pain
