Re: Spy pics of the new Dragon!!
Sharkey...thats the good thing about the Dragon....Craig gives you all kinds of options....if your going to buy a custom built boat, build it the way the customer want's it... I have not seen this one in person...but the dashes on the 3 that I seen look great....
To each his own....the boat looks great....and good luck to the guys running the English Race boat

Re: Spy pics of the new Dragon!!
Hi all
Just picked up on this thread.
Just to answer some of the questions ...
The orange nose is a requirement of the rules. It has to be visible in any sea conditions and have the number of crew members on the nose so the divers know how many people to search for if we turn it over!
Color of the boat (Magenta) ... :-) ... is based on the sponsor. The boat is fully sponsored by Arpro ... the paint job itself is incredible with a pearlesent finish ... thanks to Guardado Marine for that.
The Boat will be racing all over Europe in the P1 series where the racing is limited to an average speed per lap because we don't run with canopies like you do in SuperVee ... the boats are also a lot heavier ... approx 1,500lbs
The dashboards are not mirrored ... they are black carbon ... not sure where that came from?
Mike
