Try American National Property and Casualty. They will insure hi performance/offshore boats IF they get your entire package. House, cars, boats, umbrella etc. Their package was cheaper than Total's boat only. Joe Murray

Make sure that your super cheap"HIGH PERFORMANCE" insurance policy issued by auto insurance companies gives you something in writing on a separate form stating that they are aware of the speed and type of boat they are insuring and that if the boat has modified engines they know about it.I have seen claims denied due to "MATERIAL MISREPRESENTATION" this scenario could happen to some of the people posting here.

I can tell you first hand, if you have a high performance boat and and have real insurance, submit a claim with SY, you will have no problem collecting.

Id just like to thank everyone that responded with suggestions. I have been talking to Sy the Insurance Guy, and he came up with a very reasonable quote, looks like I will be doing something with him.
