i just found 3 of 5 infaltables lifejackets had inflated by themselves, i assume its from bouncing around in the locker where i had them stored. this happen to anyone else? where can i get the 38 gram co2 cylinders to re arm them for reasonable money? west marine wanted 25$ each.

Better than not working when you need 'em, I guess.
Wierd though, I've never heard of them auto-inflating. I don't think it's the bouncing, they're certainly designed for that. Maybe excessive heat or corrosion?...the caps on the cartridges aren't much thicker than foil.

Usually excessive moisture can cause them to inflate. Had one do it in the side compartment of the boat when rain had gotten down in their.

Yep, putting them away hot and wet will do that too. And they claim rain water does not inflate the vests unless you are in the drink---wrong!
Still pretty good though, as have auto inflated only a couple of times during six years of heavy use, while stored on the boat.
