I can't believe a 49 percent increase for six months of coverage. I know there have been alot of these threads lately, but something needs to be done!!!!

Between the Insurance prices and gas prices I don't see how this sport/business can keep growing :mad:

My car/truck rates went down almost every other year. Boats well they go up every year :(

Mines about the same, maybe a little lower. Just paid $1064 for the year, through progressive. No specific layup period, but since it's insured in Michigan it's pretty much a 6 month season anyway.

insurance is the main reason i sold our Eliminator cat years ago! :mad:
I just got our home owners insurance renewal, and it went up $500 this year! :mad:

JUST SAY NO TO OVERPRICED INS.
although 7900 actually doesnt seem that bad for a Cat. get an umbrella policy to cover liability and insure for theft on another policy if need be.
