Well it's a corrosive, I don't think it will eat through aluminum quickly but it will corrode it.

I dont think its going to eat through aluminum. There has been some concern (in the auto industry) that it could be a problem with some rubber and plastic components.
The problem that the boat manufactures (not just Skater) are having is it is breaking down the resins in the built in fiberglass tanks. So if you have a boat with fiberglass tanks your just as susceptible to the problem.

Another reason I run straight AV or race fuel.

That's my plan, to run AV or race fuel unless it gets ridiculously inconvenient. I really don't want to rip my boat apart. I have a feeling ethanol might wear out it's welcome when people begin to discover all the problems it causes. Right now it's all hype and politics "renewable energy", "farmer's economic growth" etc...

Now that I'd like to hear more about. Do you have any pics?

This stuff is so great it won't polute the air .HA HA. I don't think they thought about the thousands of gallons of fuel that will be leaked into the ground when the gas stations tanks start leaking. I'm surprised of how few people are conserned over this problem. I guess we will see a lot more people complaining when all of our states have this stuff. I personally know of 8 people that are cutting there boats apart to get away from fiberglass tanks because of problems with the ethanjunk.
