Sunk ??
I heard ( after ejecting the operator) it hit a sea
wall and ran up on shore ( this was down by the dam)

They do look like huge boats, probably requires more power than others its size to get the speeds you want, but at the same time, it should be able to crush whatever's in its path! Given what the 33 and 38 are like, I bet the 45 is like a condo

I was looking at the 45s a few years ago and two builders sent me PMs stating that the hull was unsafe. In both cases, the builders were not trying to sell me anything, just passing on information. In one case, the person was on a 45 that almost rolled over, while in moderate conditions. The boat is not being built anymore (I believe).
Drive one and make your own decision.

It is still being built and has quite a bit of work done to the hull so you can purchase with twins vs trips. I was down at the factory this time last year when they were building a 45. Awesome boat but out of my price range.

The 45 at LOTO did not sink did hit a sea wall and did some gel and drive damage (not bad for hitting it as hard as it did). Boat was repaired and is operational today by the same owner. Like any boat you need to know what you are doing turning at high rates of speed. Rumor has it driver might have hit something tearing off one drive causing the spin.
