Supposedly it's because of the change over to ethanol, not a shortage.

It cost me $90 to fill up the truck with 87 yesterday.

Payed $3.41 for 93 on the water today in Kemah, TX. They said next week it will be up another 30 cents. It wont slow me down. I just need to find more friends and family who are willing to pay for gas.

I have to laugh when people ride they say I'll buy dinner and drinks actually think they're putting a dent in the bill. Screw dinner and drinks, buy gas!

Or they'll throw you a $20 and say; "this is for the gas".

I usually respond and say; "Thanks, please give the "tip" to the gas girl."

carmel NY 3.23 3.35. and 3.47 this past weekend....

on the other hand in Fishkill NY mobil wa 2.99 and shel, citgo and everyone else was up around 3.07 - 3.15 so mobil must have got the word people are pissed.. first time in 15 years they are cheaper than anyone else.
