Default The Story Behind Shanghied Again!

I am always asked this question so I figure I will post it.
We went to the Atlantic City Boat show in 1998 just to look and we were with freinds, I turned to my wife and said were is Donzi she replied look up stooped and there was the banner, I took of like a rocket by the time she caught up to me I was already signing the contract and she said I have been Shanghied and my reply was Surprise we own a new boat! That was my 1998 22 ZX. So My first boat was named (Shanghi Surprize) with a Z to match Donzi.
Well in 2001 I did again but this time my wife was not with me when I bought the 26ZX and thats were the name came from. (Shanghied Again!) Now that I sell Donzis she worries that much more because my eyes are on the 35ZR.

So it should not come as any surprize when you come home with that new 35. New name NO SURPRIZES

Good choice in boats - and apparently in a wife, if she didn't clobber you for not consulting her.
Good luck with the 35.

Hey Frank. Neat to hear the story behind the name. I hope you and Melissa are well. Take care and hope to see you soon.
