Default Strength needed as well as looks

I'm in the market for a 28' to 33' w/ twin IO. Ideal setup is 500 HP +/- X 2. I don't need to break 80 (although it would be nice) but would like to cruise reliably at 60. The most important thing is that the hull will stay in one piece and rigging is solid as well.

Right now I'm focused on Cigarette, Fountain, Hustler, Pantera, Sutphen.

Question for you all:
Am I wrong to consider these hulls as playing in the same ball park?
Who belongs, who doesn't?
Have I missed any manufacturers?

Thanks in advance for the feed back.

all boats you have mentioned are great boats that won't fall apart. Also look at 32AT, 33 Donzi, 31 Sonic

I know of a clean 32AT for sale w/ 500's. There is a nice 31 Sonic in the OSO classifieds with 525's.

Check the active thunder owners forum. They also have a website, but the 32 is not on there since it was just replaced with the new 33.

Here are 2 that i know of that are for sale...

They are all the same at 24*. The Fountain, I think is the only on with a pad. The pad generaly will give you a higher top speed, but may be a little rougher ride in big waves unless you dance it on top.
There are only a few that use a 25* hull.

After rereading your post, I am not sure what Sutphen has for a deadrise.
