As I recall, GM was not "officially" in the race. Quite a story on GM if anyone would like to elaborate.
I have Searace in front of me....46' quad-engine Cougar cat was the Miami-NY boat. Was going to be a 46' Cougar v-hull, but it wasn't completed in time for the race.
