Assuming the 5" dry exhaust is on a 1000+ hp engine. A lot of the mufflers I have looked at inlcuding those pictured choke the engine. 5" down to 3.5-4". Sort of defeats the whole system.

If by dry you mean the CMI thruhull tails with the water slots on the end of the tailpipe, we have a muffler that will work. We do a race tail with internal water half couplings and a thru hull water dump for some applications.
dry as in the water exits via thru hull transum dump. dont want any reversion issues EVER.

were runnin triple 960hp bbc with stainless marine gen III w. 5in pipes on the revo we have been restoring, and ggbs were the only we could find, but instead of restricting the engine we decided to have stainless marine make flared turn downs for the 2 rear engines that run exhaust into the water, but once planned off, are no longer in water, and the center engine we had to run out the sides so we couldnt use mufflers or turn downs, so we just plan on not runnin the center untill away from public :drink:

As I said, I don't have pictures of them installed. I removed the rubber flappers before installation. I run a truly dry system with exhaust water dump over the drive. Of course, I'm only running a 540, with much less than 1,000 hp. :D

The GGB's work well for my application.
