Boat Trailers
Looking for a new trailer for my boat.
Any suggestions as to who makes a quality trailer with out paying an arm and a leg for it?
Looking for a tandem axle, 7k capacity, brakes on both axles.
Trailer will be used in Florida, so saltwater use.
Thanks

Re: Boat Trailers
WCT- West Coast Trailers.
Talk to Wayne Redmond. I've been doing this a long time and had all the time in the world to shop and compare, I went with WCT and have been a happy guy.

Re: Boat Trailers
Pashn8,
Buy a Nextrail. They are built in Ocala, FL and really nice guys. They will build you exactly what you want and not charge you an arm and a leg. I have a triple axle aluminum trailer with 10K miles on it now and no problems/ tows nice.

Re: Boat Trailers
I just picked up a triple axle Allison trailer this weekend (they are partners with Hi-Tech) with all stainless hardware in Panama City. I am VERY happy with the trailer and it came with a lot of options (aluminum wheels, spare, tool box, Kodiak discs on all axles, LED taillights, torsion axles, removable spindles). I pulled the trailer from Panama City, to Miami, to CT and the trailer tracked straight, braked extremely well, and didn't get knocked around by 18 wheelers when they drove by. The guys who put it together really did a nice job. The price was the absolute best thing about it, though. I paid less than I would have for any of the used trailers on the market. Talk to Bill at 850-276-0393. Since you are local, my only complaint about the whole experience really shouldn't affect you. This was the fact that last minute I had to go pick the trailer up because the driver who was supposed to deliver it to Miami wasn't available. They did redeem themselves for my trouble by charging me way less for the trailer than they initially quoted me (which was already a great price). Hope this helps.
