Who sells Monterey 298SC

I know it's not a go-fast, but it's no slouch either :D

A good friend has been trying to buy one, twin 350mag preferably horizon motors, bravo3, loaded, generator optional.

Had a bad experience with the local dealer, location is not a problem as he is in the trucking industry.

Can anyone point me to a straight shooter? willing to consider 2004 models on up.

Thanks for any input

Good Luck, I spent alot of time on the 298 at the boat shows and really liked them. That should be a low-mid 60's boat if I remember correct.

There is already one here on the river, 62mph anytime. It jumps right on plane in it's own length.

It's the go-to boat if anyone needs a tow, pulled a 30' sleekcraft with twins up on to a plane

I am very impressed with this boat, but am trying to keep my wife away from it as I'm not ready for a sport cruiser yet :drink:

I had a single 350 mag horizon in my last cruiser. It ran very good

I just sold a nice 2004 to someone in Texas sounds like same dealer he was going to buy from. I purchased mine thru Castaic Marine In Los Angeles area. 661 257 4140 They gave me a real fair deal and my cousin bought the identical one also, mine was loaded to the gill, generator and all. Nice boat just wasn't ready for cruiser yet. Ask for Jack owner or his son Shane. Tell him Dr Jerry sent ya and to take care of your friend.

We traded one in that went to Grand Lake. It came from Big Thunder Marine at LOTO.Needed some parts and Ugly John's was helpful. They are both dealers for Monterey. Hope this helps.
