verry sad story . i hope the little girl makes it. here in NC it's law any one under 13 must ware a lift vest in a boat at all times. our 5 y/o warers his all the time , near the water. we even take it to the races with us , jest in case he want;s to play in ther water or we go out on a boat . .

Nothing is worse than a child dying through their parents stupidity..
And trying to sleep through the night afterwards is hard. For a lonnng time..

I have a friend of a friend who killed their own child
It was night and he was going out. The kid ran out of the house and no one knew this. The guy was backing up and felt a thud

They had two guys doing an "on site" interview on the local ABC channel last night. They did an interview at what looked like the sandpits; and they explained how they did CPR for 30 minutes. They were in front of a boat with a big blue splash graphic painted across the bow and windscreen, but I don't know who they were. That's where I got the news.
