We had a blast down there. Several of the locals took great care of us. I'd like to go back soon but, not till the boat is running again.
You can buy me a drink at the islands soon :drink: Jus kidding.

RaceGirl3, Sorry we missed out but we were out Saturday afternoon. We went by the Rudder, but it was packed in the late afternoon. The fountain looks like the 35 that was called "Gabby Girl". It is nice either way.
We will be out again this coming weekend provided the weather is good.

We wont get there til late Thursday night and then we spend the day on Friday runnin around Mooresville. So if you can hit The Rudder this coming Friday evening, that would be cool. Saturday, we will be at the track and saturday evening, sittin in the stands :cool: My seat section and the views ... :drink:

I'm gonna try to make RHCs run. It's on my list. Waiting on my cam to put "Merlin" back together.

Racegirl3, we will probably try to make it to the rudder friday evening if we can get a slip. Sometimes on the weekend, it gets pretty hectic. Maybe I will slip out of work a little early
(like usual for friday)

We are planning on getting to the rudder by 5pm or so, hopefully we can get a boat slip. Vagrant is coming with us. We will see you there.
CA, hope you get out this weekend and break the boat in as it is only a handful of weeks until Jacksonville. Look forward to seeing you guys there.

:p I forgot to take my camera when we were at the Rudder. Wish I would have remembered it. Steet has a beautiful Velocity. I was standing on the dock waiting for them to tie up and some guy was standing there trying to impress the girl he was with, explaining to her how that was a Cigarette and where the company was and how it went out of business :rolleyes: You know how you guys are when your tryin to impress the ladies :D

Well, don't we all? It was great seeing you and hope that we can do it again soon. As always, we have a good time where ever, whenever, we are around boaters/race fans. We had a great time and hope you enjoyed the race. Hope you did not get to wet at the track. Thunderstorms looked pretty bad on the TV

Yeah I'll be in All Fired Up . My Scarab is up at my brothers on lake St. Clair just north of Detriot now.

I was out today for about 2 1/2 hours. We hit the sand bar cruised cocktail cove even went up to Queens Landing. Nobody wanted to play. Also I think I saw a 42 Legacy at the sand bar who's is it? Thought I had a Fountain that wanted some but he gave up around 60. Why don't anybody want to play?:(

The lake looked beautiful this morning when we were leaving.

I heard you were out but I never saw you.

I would have given you plenty but I didn't get out to the sand bar until 3:30 ish. Can't really run hard on the weekend unless you are out before 11:00am or after 6:00pm.

The OL you saw is from VA he comes down this week each year. Nice boat, triple 525's!

Glad you had a nice visit.

I consider myself one of the few lucky enough to have met the infamous RG3 in person!

The lake was packed when I was out it was hard to run for any length of time. Look forward to hooking up with you guys at some point. Let's get together some week night after work or if you guys get a monday off from travel. Shoot me an e-mail.
