Question for the Masses
 

If someone was going to raffle off a boat, How many of you would buy a ticket for $100.00 for a chance to win a boat with big power and number 6 drives in virtually showroom condition?

Do you plan on limiting the number of tickets that are going to be sold?

I would do it, How many tickets to be sold .. :D

I would be interested, but would need to know specifics - is there a guaranteed winner, how many tickets are being sold, etc. Sounds like a good idea, go for it!

Sean, before you go much further, you need to talk to an accountant. I believe that raffles are classified under gambling and are limited to charities. Just trying to give you a heads up before you have any problems. :cool: ?

Here's the plan; The boat has had over $500,000.00 invested into it has been totally redone and has 1000Sc/#6's in it.
The plan would be to sell 3000 tickets in a specified amount of time and if for some reason a minimum amount wasn't sold by the target date then all monies collected would be refunded back to the ticket holders.

Remember if you win you are going to have to pay tax on the boat, that's going to be about $18,000 but you should be able to get a loan for that secured by a $300,000 boat.

It wouldn't be that 42 Tiger you have listed on your page with the 900SC's?
