I was told about OSO by Formula Powerboats!
I called to ask about a technical question on my 1990, they made their suggestion and told me to go to OSO and see what was said!
Best thing I could've done, next to buying my
Formula

It's all Troutly's fault!!
Troutly and some other friends of ours came down for the Shootout @ LOTO last summer. He said he was supposed to be meeting some people he met on the internet. I couldn't believe talked with these people on the net and was now going to meet them. I razzed him so bad about that
Those "other people" turned out to be Waterfoul, JBK, MnFastboat, etc....I made a lot of new friends that weekend.
Now look at me......I'm a junkie like the rest of you.

I found it through some search engine back in the days of the old board. The board didn't have anything that interested me, so I moved on. Later, after it got restablished, I lurked for a while before registering. Back in those days, everybody knew every one and what they were about. Today, I only see a few of those old names, and alot of people that I don't know.
Anybody remeber the celebration when we first hit 10,000 posts? How about 1,000 members? Wow, that seems like it was such a long time ago...

Back in 1997, my 10 year old son started a website called BMXonly. It got me to thinkin and I started a site called offshoreonly. I didn't have my own domain name at that time, just had the free web site most ISP's give you. Well much to my suprise in 1999 when I finally decided to purchase a domain name I discovered offshoreonly.com was already taken. I then changed to nwoffshore.com. I don't know who came up with the name first and I don't care, but I don't think I could have come close to doing as fine a job with my site as has been done here. Keep up the good work.
