I hear they'll throw in an extra 500 gallons of resin so you can build the 1st boat :D

All the older molds ended up with Mcmanus. 36 and 28, gone. Part of the deal was that the step-bottom abortion was chopped up into sawdust. The deck is what's hanging in the pictures. It's allegably usable but I didn't take any core samples to see if that was true or false.

The 41 mold is the CNC Thad project. What's left at the Delray plant is what you see in Martyn's pictures. The hurricane is why the hull mold likes nasty. Martyn's a decent guy to talk with if you call him.

It's not bad stuff but it's 8'2" beam. I made several offers but nothing was consumated. We figured that for the money we could start from scratch and build something a little wider. Plus we really want the walk-around non-skid vs. stairs up a dash.

Seems like every 1/2 a year or so a 41 Apache mold comes up for sale. How many 41 Apache molds are out there? How can you tell what is an original 41 Apache mold? Also would a 41 Apache mold from the 80's still be good and straight anyway?

Good move you guys  :D . I Like a little wider beam anyways, especially when you start to get into the 40's'. Design your own, keep that A.T look that your customers have come to love. 200k is way too much coin. Even 100k is off base especially if your only after the top deck. Good Luck Pat and _ _ _ . :drink: Jeff

Go Pat...As we discussed a 40+ is money in the bank for the AT team and I could find a good pre-owned 37!

Pat do your own 42. stay with what you know. 200k is way to much to have to retool it the way you want it. I am sure you already walked onthis one anyway.

The 41 origanl molds are at Saber, they fixed them up after the 1995 Government auction, and started building 41's. Somebody should build the 36's and 28's they are great boats.
