BJ, you guys did great this year and are the true World Champs as far as I'm concerned, but now It's time to get out of the lakes, ponds and rivers, and run with the big dogs (Daytona, Ocean City, and the big daddy of all PT. Pleasent), I know you've been there before with the Pantera (TravelNow.com)do you think Mark is ready? Looks to me that Cleveland was a hand full for you guys.

To Rich for my blood, Only if I could control the weather or take the added 375lbs out of my boat, I'll take that offer in Pt. Pleasant where the rules are different and the waters rough, maybe for the Manufactures Cup? need to check dates, the way the schedules look may be and APBA Pro Series Race. I’ll get back with ya.

Key West was a walk in the park to Daytona. Do you agree Randy, Joe or any other F1 guys?

BJ , e-motion driver and I race a 30 motion w/ 2.5's. My money is on you destroyed the f-1 field last year. I think you may have to pull the kill switch a couple more times this year to keep it interesting.I am almost shocked that apba has'nt put weight on you to slow you down. You guys rock!!

THANKS! WE DON'T HAVE THE FASTEST BOAT IN F-1. IN-FACT,WE NEVER SAW MORE THAN 80 AT ANY TIME THIS YEAR. SCARAB,FOUNTAIN,WARLOCKS,PHANTOMS AND THE NEW VR1 VELOCITY ARE ALL FASTER BOATS. WE JUST HAVE THE BEST ALL AROUND BOAT.

Bring it on at the Jersey races. You'll have three choices but the May race is typically the roughest.

These are all SBI/OPA/Force series points races. Add NY NY on Sept 8 and you have the four race NE OPA Series. Hear is a photo of team Typhoon taking it all last summer in Point Pleasant. Http://njoffshore2.homestead.com/july2001pics4.html. This is home town waters for these guys.

The function on the 16th of Feb is the awards party for last years NE division winners.

Nice nickname from your good friend BJ!!! I just got back from a business trip in DC so I couldn't write. Why are you being so nice to Joey. Let's drag him through the dirt too. Where are the rest of the F-1 teams??? Are they afraid to speak their minds??? It sounds like BJ will be washing the Typhoon boat this year if he continues missing the buoys. We ran Pt. Pleaseant as L-300 and in APBA we ran P2-69 eMotion Racing in the 2000 season w/300 Promax's. We bought some outboards from Gary Bullough last year to run Super Cat Lite or Stock class and had to do more cutting and rigging then expected. We are ready for 2002. Plan to run SBI.

fastcat and I just bought a '79 Thompson and cut the deck off and put a canopy on and a 502 in. We are going to rule F1 with the only Tri hull in the fleet. With this water entrapment hull none of you guys got a chance. Just hope we don't face the same time as stock class becuase it going to be a hard choice to make one which class to run. :D :D :D

Thanks for the offer to be towed but all we want is the beer! We plan on racing there but not to sure about Tug-boat Eddie or BJ (I only can go 79 mph) but whip the field guys. Do you also do fiberglass work?

We have only run the May race the past two years so it has always been rough in May.

Anytime we get a west wind the ocean is flat. Get an east or south east wind and it gets snotty. Would I be lying if I said that we raced in 10 foot seas?

Ron they were a good 10 foot when you were going out and HUGE AIR.there is no place like Point NJ for big water racing.I have never had a calm day racing there.To see some great pics. go to sports probe and chech out pics. by Ike Livine.

I have to say all three of you guys run hard all the time also.I really appreciate that because I hate raceing with guys that have no balls.I sold my race boat to a customer in Ohio.My plans are to run our new 35 in F2 but I might just get tempted to build a new 28 also and run in F1 on Saturdays, and be part of this ass beating that you guys are talking about.I will have BIG SURPRISE if I do decide to run in F1 this year.Hey BJ,We did get BIG AIR in that 99 Key West race.Hey Eddie,Key West was a wild ride this year.Hitting that first turn with no tabs,wide open, and 20 boats was a challenge.
Hey Randy, Eddie, that first turn in Pt.Pleasant this year was some big air water.I felt like I was trying to jump 2 9 footers at a time like my motocross bike.I look forward to haveing the opportunity to race you guys again in the near future.It was definetely an exciting year of racing.I will be looking forward to hitting that first turn at Daytona wide open.Good luck to all, JO :D

I build our Factory race boats always black.Since my dad began raceing in the mid 70s our factory boats have been this color.They are definetely a little on the warm side but look awesome.In reference to being nice that is just the way I am until I get in the boat with you guys beside me.Then I become a diffrent person.I will post some photos as I build our F2 race boat and maybe a new F1.I just posted photo of Mike Girards new 35 in my web site.He use to race Sloppy Joes 46 skater.Take a look at it at WWW.Panteraboats.com :D

I got another idea for you all.What if we tried to get a couple of sponsors for just Factory 1 and splashed there name on all our boats? Then we can split up money how we see fit.That way the sponsor is getting higher visablity being on more boats.It may be easer to atract them that way.The person who gets the sponsor gets say 25% of the money and pay out top five positions or winner takes all.No one else is going to help us guys and girls.
