"SLOWEDDIE
YOU GOT ME LAUGHING WITH YOUR LAST COMMENT ABOUT CLEVLAND. WE DID SPIN OUT IN THE ONE TURN AND WERE DEAD IN THE WATER FOR ABOUT 25 SECONDS AND STILL MANAGED TO BEAT YOUR RED RYDER SLED OF A BOAT! AS I RECALL THE FIRST RACE AT KEY WEST WAS ROUGH AND YOU HAD YOUR BEST FINISH TO DATE, AND STILL FINISHED OVER A MINUTE BEHIND US. WHERE WERE YOU IN TEXAS? I'LL MAKE YOU THE SAME OFFER AS I MADE TYPHOON(AND YOU CAN CHOOSE JUST THE ROUGH WATER RACES IF YOU WANT) WHOEVER WINS PAYS THE OTHER GUYS ENTRY FEES.
B.J. "

Did I read this right? If B.J. wins, he is going to pay the entry fee for the loosers.
I think I will get me one of those Yankee Ed Sleds and go racing up north. :D :D

If Ed could shed the lead, he would be watching the loosers wash his boat. Ed,
don't make me look bad, go on a diet and eat some F1's up. :D

F1-52 Offshore Addiction here- we are still unsure what series we will be running this year, but we will be attending most of the Florida races. Activator- we will be right behind you and Typhoon will be behind us both. Activator you know we are hunting you down... We will see Typhoon be washing Activator's boat and wearing Mark's uniforms. We will supply the soap...and bring some beer to watch.

TYPHOON 01-25-2002 11:31 AM

Ok lets call our Factory 1 pit area the THE DOG POUND!!! Its only for the big dogs and if you stay long enough you'll be in the dog house.Welcome to the POUND.Glenn bought a killer sound system for outside the motor home,we play who let the dog's out.Lets see we are only 3 months away.

WHIPLASH RACING 01-25-2002 09:46 PM

BJM,
You definately deserve credit where credit is do. You definately need to coem to jersey when it is rough with that boat. Randy(Typhoon) runs great there. Everytime he races there he is the boat to beat. Eddie is fast also. He probably would be better if he didnt have that 300 some pounds in the boat. Who will be in Daytona for the season opener?
Good luck to all the teams. You guys are getting soft on one another in here. Where the hell are all the other F1 racers. :D

Cain Crew 01-25-2002 10:30 PM

Wow randy, you pick on us and we aren't even around to enjoy it. we will be behind you all the way. Beer and burgers are on me in the pits. We do a lot of passing, it's just on the highway!...or the go cart track...hahahah counting down the days .. getting ready to put the motor back in. we always run wide open, we just drag an anchor so we don't get to far out in front! lol We also have a small problem turning the wheel...the boat seems to want to go straight, what's the deal with that? later Chip

Ron P 01-25-2002 11:31 PM

You guys ain't ****. Your all going to be swallowing my spray this year. See, me and Fabio Buzzi...yeah that's right...Fabio Buzzi, are putting the finishing touches on Mr. Technology II. It's a new Buzzi design that will revolutionize V hulls as we know now know them.

Our first run was over 109mph. Of course it has all the maniditory Merc hardware but its all new from there. The Hull is 3 ft wide and 36 feet long. It has Buzzi's famous blow up rubber bumper around the sides that give it an over width of 7.5 feet. The bottom has a half inch step every two inches starting at the water line all the way back. Also the entire hull is built like an air hockey game so that the 12 nacta ducts on the deck will feel air to the bottom.

The throttle is contolled by a computer that senses the load on the crankshaft and adjusts accordingly. GPS tells the throttle when it's time to back off for a turn.

Infared sensors and gyroscopes keep the trim tabs, drive trim and ballast tank at optimum levels for upcomming water conditions.

There are 14 patents pending on this boat and we just sold 20 of them to meet the rules of F1.

You guys are toast. See ya in Daytona. Bring your sponges.

Cain Crew 01-25-2002 11:37 PM

so ron, it sounds like your out of a job! The boat can run itself, what are you going to do? wash it?

Ron P 01-25-2002 11:54 PM

No I have you guys to wash it.

I'll pilot the boat, Fabio plans on sitting in the back and tweeking the software.

25Daytona 01-26-2002 08:58 AM

Great trash talking guys. Could any of you guys beat the LaveyCraft if they decided to run the national cicuit. Just a question from a non-racer. ;)

Fast Shafts 01-26-2002 10:45 AM

Hey Ron,

Is that one of those Fabio boats with a tube around it to keep you "right side up"???
BOB :D :D

SHARKEY-IMAGES 01-26-2002 11:09 AM

   :D :D :D

Ron P 01-26-2002 11:50 AM

Hi Bob, that's the one, just like the Buzzi Buzzard.

Oh I neglected to mention the wings. The wings are mounted exactly at the CG and extend 20 feet to either side. The wings are a complex composite of ever increasing dyhedral and completely convex to create the most lift with the least drag. According to our NASA engineers math, at 105 mph the wing will be lifting 85% of the boats weight. At 109mpg it is lifting 98% of the weight. This makes for interesting jumps that are more like short flights.

Or only problem so far is when we lean into a turn, we drag a wing. Not to worry, we should be so far in front of the rest of you guys that our width in the turns should not be an issue.

Like I said, you guys are toast.

Mr. T II

glassdave 01-26-2002 12:13 PM

hey ron, im not a racer or anything just a techie/boater.is it posible to see pictures of that thing on like a website or something, sounds realy cool.or is it still double top secret.

Fast Shafts 01-26-2002 12:14 PM

I see a new class, "BAT BUZZARDS"

SHARKEY-IMAGES 01-26-2002 12:34 PM

No! No! Please not another class! I can't keep up with all these classes...  :D :D :D :D

Bruce 01-26-2002 12:37 PM

Ron P, Since you've got the wings for lift and control why not put a steel plate right at the CG of the boat and then a strong electromagnet in the chase helocopter. The first time you launch big the pilot could turn on the electromagnet and you'd be in complete control, the top speed is now the limit of the helo. I doubt any of the F1 boats can beat a helocopter!! You Da Man.

Ron P 01-26-2002 12:46 PM

Bruce, that would be illegal.

Photos? Not yet. The first time you see it we will be holding a checkerd flag in front of other the other racers washing our boat.

Bruce 01-26-2002 02:57 PM

Gez, how'd I overlook that small detail!! Your absolutely right, all the other stuff on the boat is clearly specified. :D

kilo holder 01-26-2002 03:44 PM

Guy's, dont get too worked up. The boat does not exist. Even if it did, it would not make homologation because it's over 30 feet.
Sorry to ruin your great story.

TYPHOON 01-26-2002 03:56 PM

Ron what are you smoking? It must be some good **** cause its getting deep.To bad you can't race it in Factory 1 , or 2 for that matter. Factory 1&2 wont let you run anything with wings or air lifting devices. Also Factory 1 cant be longer than 30 feet.Sounds like a great P-2 or P-3 boat.Maybe SBI will let you run they have no rules (minimal)
Randy

Ron P 01-27-2002 12:19 AM

I just got off a two hour call with Fabio. We decided that it is time for us to read the rule book.

As we speak, Fabio is blocking 6 feet off the mold and will pop out a new 30' hull in a week. Since he has a huge client base, he will be able to sell at least 20 of the 30 foot version before April. Of course the retail version doesn't have wings so we may have to remove them too in order to meet the homologation rules.

He expects the new hull to be lighter and run in the 112mph area.

You guys are still toast.

I must agree with TYPHOON. That must be some really good stuff you are smoking over there. Definately a funny one!!!! Typhoon, will you be in Daytona in April. Will love to stop by and party with your team. I got an idea for a new post for the F1 guys. Title it Factory 1 Wars. Kinda like that show on cable "Junkyard Wars" LETS BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!" :D

eMotiondriver 01-27-2002 04:05 PM

None of the F1 guys will ever beat our '79 Thompson. We just ordered a canopy are they legal in F1 ?

TYPHOON 01-28-2002 09:11 AM

Sorry no canopys in F-1 and for Ron I'm still not buying it.
Randy

TYPHOON 01-28-2002 09:15 AM

I sure wish team OUTLAW IN F-1 would take there skirts off and get to Daytona.I think they need a ass beating as well.
Randy

Shane 01-28-2002 09:32 AM

You guys can talk all you want till you see what myself, Shorgasm and Traviss have worked out for Factory 1.

First we started with a time tested and proven hull. Shorgasm's BAYLINER! We then enlisted the help of Traviss and his team from Whatchamacallit University to blue print the bottom and make a few minor adjustments to the already flawless design. Traviss and his cohorts have been working tirelessly utilizing multiple feasibility studies in hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, and thermodynamics. They have developed proprietary strake designs very similiar to those used by the Aussies in the America's Cup back in the 80's. Yes that is right a WINGED KEEL! Next, Shorgasm and I have been working on methods to highly modify the HP500EFI and replace the seals so no one will notice. We have patented the methodology and using applied physics and having back tested the model since like yesterday, we calculate that had we employed thisd technology earlier we would have won every race run since this weekend.

When you step into the cockpit you will find space aged materials that are available only to those with top secret security clearance. Traviss has employed his flock of barnyard animals as our crew. Me I am the team manager and will be accepting sponsor monies only from the most discriminating of corporations. We appear to have ENRON as our title sponsor. The check is in the mail according to Mr. Lay CEO.

As far as running the boat we have not decided who will be throttleman, driver and masturbater as of yet but we have a good idea. So RonP, you and Fabio can take your rubber ducky and go home because we will be the CLASS OF THE FIELD!

Oh and BTW, you best keep your wives at home because Traviss will be hitting on them all weekend seeing that his flock of sheep will be busy maintaining the boat.   :D :D :D :p :p

al 01-28-2002 09:36 AM

Hey Typhoon, how about all the F1 guys pitching in and fixing the other boats from the SBI competition for the worlds and then that way you will have some real competition. By the way Activator was staring at our transom at the St Pete Nationals.

al 01-28-2002 09:40 AM

Missed Daytona last year, praticed there many times, see you there this year. That's my old stomping grounds- got a lot of friends there- we are all going to have a lot of fun. No need to bring the portable hot tub- got family near the beach with all party necessaries....

Chesley witch F-1 boat are you with? I'm not good with names.See you in the pound at Daytona.
Randy

Ron P 01-28-2002 12:11 PM

Shane, laugh all you want now, because once my rubber ducky laps your winged sheep hauler you'll be crying like a little girl.

Oh and its not legal to mess with the motor and seals. If your gonna race with the big dogs make sure you follow the rules.

Are Bayliners Homologated for F1?

Shane 01-28-2002 12:15 PM

RonP,

Your Ducky LAP US?    HA!LOL! Remember when you go to bed to count your sheep, and get used to it, you WILL be counting how many times WE lap YOU! :p :p :p
