We are talking about World Championships here not who builds a great boat. So when I think of Apache and it's racing history I think of the Apcahe's of the early to mid 1980's. Being as we are talking about World Championships and not boats.... 
I have a question:
How many times has a World Championship Title been given out in any offshore organization when there was only one boat in the class ?
I know it has to have been more than once.....

AHHHHH Sharkey, I was just wondering the same thing last night as I read over this thread. I personally do not know for sure but I think some of those P-Class and/or Manufactures Cup titles only had one boat in a lot of races.
