80, with a 454.....YEAAAAAAAAA, sure it does. First off, I wouldn't want to do 80 in a 21 hammer! My 24 Outlaw did up near 80 with a blown 650 and it was a bit scary at that speed. Liked to chine walk a bit :eek: :drink:

A neighbor had one. It went 67 on the speedo. Probably less on GPS.

NO WAY it does 80! I have been over 80 (85 on speedo) in several bassboats and small boats can be stable at speed. Those things are a blast running 3/4 throttle in 75 ft wide creeks.

I have a buddy with that exact boat minus all the fluff and his will only do 64 gps trimmed to the sky with one person on board.... :rolleyes:

Low to mid 60's with that weezer of a 454. C'mon it's a 330 horse motor. I do believe that the stock speedo will show in the mid to upper 70's. Those stock gages suck !! My stock speedo showed 71 when on GPS I was doing 60 !!!

Smitty nailed it.
I had a H2X with the same motor. Speedo (read Baja dreamometer) said 67, GPS'ed 62. I got mine to 72 (GPS) with a Pro Charger and a few minor upgrades. Speedo read 80.
Added a 468" blower motor and got 82. Speedo was wound back around to the 0 post. You will need hydraulic steering and pretty good driving technique to get it there. A friend of mine with a similar setup got his to 90 with a Stellings setback box.
The Hammer is a cool boat. One of the sharpest and fastest (with adequate horsepower) in the Baja line.
With the below, you can get 80+.

I went for a ride in one here on the river with slight chop. Damn thing beat me to death. We hit a blistering 63 on GPS with a 7.4

Hi-Perf 2000 on here had a buddy with a 24 outlaw that did 100 Mph. Talk about crazy :eek:
